“As the Property Manager of a large apartment complex, using Total Access of New England was a decision we are very happy about. The job was coordinated with our maintenance staff with care and caution, and we were given thorough information and very helpful advice. The planning of the installation of the new tub was very well done. The job itself was quick (completed in less than a week) and despite being a labor-intensive job, was done with a minimum of disruption to our resident. After its completion, it is clearly a very solid, well-designed job and our residents have told us more than once how happy they are. We would be happy to use Total Access again, and would definitely recommend them."

“Dan did a great job coming up with a plan for me to live on the first floor of my home so I didn’t have to use the stairs any more. He remodeled my laundry room to accommodate a barrier free shower which I love. He has recommended and installed many products over the years that have made my life much easier. All his workers were helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone."

I worked with Dan Martin and his team at Total Access of New England to convert my shower to a walk in bathtub.
My husband and I found Dan to be professional and courteous. I specifically appreciated that the construction and installation was completed in a timely manner. Each contractor completed quality work with a respectful demeanor. When touch ups were needed, Dan made himself available promptly.
On to the tub. I choose the walk in tub although I use a wheelchair because it works for all our considerations. I use a stand-pivot transfer into the tub which is assisted by grab bars placed to my specifications. It should be noted that people who use wheelchairs will generally be more suited to the fully accessible model.
Returning to bathing has afforded many benefits. One is improved hygiene and less dependence in the most personal ways. When mobility is limited, this is often compromised leading to embarrassment and sometimes health concerns. In addition sitting in a warm bath with hydrotherapy proves to relax tight muscles, reduce pain and provide and welcome reprieve from the stressors of the day.
I recommend this type of remodel to anyone who has ever had an achey muscle, works hard, expects to get any older or care for someone and those with a need for greater independence. We are happy with our investment. In fact, I can't get my kids out of it on bath nights. I recommend Dan Martin and his team at Total Access of New England.
Happy Bathing,
Tammy
