Elegant Bathrooms by Dan
I want to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the beautiful remodeling job you have recently completed in my parents’ home. As they became older, it was apparent that their existing bathroom and the access to their home was unsafe for them. The Best Bath walk-in shower, the wall mounted sink and the wheelchair ramp were just what they needed to be able to continue living safely in their home. They absolutely love the work and are grateful for it.
None of it would have been possible without your help and that of your associates. They were all friendly, professional and courteous. Bob and Steve, with their plumbing and electrical work, did a great job overcoming some difficulties with bringing the project up to code without wrecking our budget. John was meticulous with his prepping and painting work and it really shows. Wally did a great job with the demolition, carpentry work and wheelchair ramp installation. He always took the time to check in and chat with my parents to keep them apprised of how things were progressing.
Thank you all for helping to make this project a success.
“As Don’s Parkinson's Disease progressed, it became apparent that we needed to focus our living on the first floor. Dan and his expert crew stripped a small half bath and adjoining coat closet back to the studs and created a roomy and inviting full bathroom complete with all the helpful aids we need – grab bars, roll in shower with seat, etc. Throughout the process everyone was helpful and courteous. They took care to contain the dust and noise to the extent they could, clean up at the end of every day and generally disrupt our lives as little as possible. We are delighted with the result."

“I checked around looking for a walkin bath tub. Best price came from Elegant Bathrooms by Dan. I have a small bathroom which is down a hallway. I didn't know how they were going to get it in the bathroom. Dan came up with a plan. It was like rebuilding the bathroom. A lot of work went into this project. John was amazing with what he had to do. Was not easy. End result was wonderful. Dan and John are really great at what they do. It was a pleasure doing business with them. Answered any question or concern I had and they really put me at ease. I knew I found the best team to do this job. If needed I would gladly do business with them again. Thank you Dan and John."

“As the Property Manager of a large apartment complex, using Total Access of New England was a decision we are very happy about. The job was coordinated with our maintenance staff with care and caution, and we were given thorough information and very helpful advice. The planning of the installation of the new tub was very well done. The job itself was quick (completed in less than a week) and despite being a labor-intensive job, was done with a minimum of disruption to our resident. After its completion, it is clearly a very solid, well-designed job and our residents have told us more than once how happy they are. We would be happy to use Total Access again, and would definitely recommend them."
“Dan did a great job coming up with a plan for me to live on the first floor of my home so I didn’t have to use the stairs any more. He remodeled my laundry room to accommodate a barrier free shower which I love. He has recommended and installed many products over the years that have made my life much easier. All his workers were helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone."
I worked with Dan Martin and his team at Total Access of New England to convert my shower to a walk in bathtub.
My husband and I found Dan to be professional and courteous. I specifically appreciated that the construction and installation was completed in a timely manner. Each contractor completed quality work with a respectful demeanor. When touch ups were needed, Dan made himself available promptly.
On to the tub. I choose the walk in tub although I use a wheelchair because it works for all our considerations. I use a stand-pivot transfer into the tub which is assisted by grab bars placed to my specifications. It should be noted that people who use wheelchairs will generally be more suited to the fully accessible model.
Returning to bathing has afforded many benefits. One is improved hygiene and less dependence in the most personal ways. When mobility is limited, this is often compromised leading to embarrassment and sometimes health concerns. In addition sitting in a warm bath with hydrotherapy proves to relax tight muscles, reduce pain and provide and welcome reprieve from the stressors of the day.
I recommend this type of remodel to anyone who has ever had an achey muscle, works hard, expects to get any older or care for someone and those with a need for greater independence. We are happy with our investment. In fact, I can't get my kids out of it on bath nights. I recommend Dan Martin and his team at Total Access of New England.
